The weather station used to collect the data for the website is a Fine Offset WH1081.

The instruments are 2.5 metres (8 feet) above ground level, apart from the rain gauge which is located a few feet off the ground. Data is transmitted wirelessly from the device every 15 seconds to the control panel. The data is then recorded as a snap-shot every 10 minutes and uploaded to the web for viewing and analysis.

We use the excellent Cumulus weather station software from Sandaysoft.
